Jacking of existing balcony slabs, removal and replacement of steel bearing plates, repair and painting existing cantilevered structural steel, new waterproofing coating on all balcony slabs indicated, painting the underside of the balconies, new waterproof joints between slabs and sealant at the building/balcony interface, removal and reinstallation of the existing railings and other miscellaneous work as necessary to complete the work.
Contractor shall include cleaning, field prepping, spot-priming and painting underside of new roof deck and touch up of roof joists. Underside of roof deck & joists shall be painted in an “Eggshell” gloss level alkyd premium coating. Advise coating brand & product in proposal on separate letterhead. 10. Contractor shall include providing, installing & wiring new LED lighting (30 new ceiling fixtures).
The Project will include the following: Removal of existing ceiling and existing foam insulation, installation of a new sprinkler system, adjustments to existing boat storage racks, application of fire-resistive material on underside of floor deck and beams above, intumescent painting of interior columns, installation of new foam insulation, re-install existing ceiling and re-installation of modified boat storage racks and other miscellaneous code
This includes any required heating and hoarding, excavation along west and portion of north parkade foundation wall for new waterproofing terminations, replacement of existing mechanical exhaust cover grating assemblies, upgrades and repairs to plaza drainage system, concrete repairs to plaza structural slab (delamination repairs), installation of new steel bollards, parking line painting, and repainting of underside of plaza slab within the parkade
PROJECT SCOPE: The work specified herein includes the preparation, routine painting, and finish work underside of the wooden passenger and hurricane deck overhangs on the Historic Ferry Eureka. The Eureka is moored at Hyde Street Pier, at the foot of Hyde Street, San Francisco, California. Place of Performance: The Hyde Street Pier, at the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park (SAFR), which is a unit of the National Park Service.
