The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) issues new cadets clothing and uniform items as part of their in-processing. The Cadet Distinctive Uniform is part of the initial clothing issue. The uniforms are kept on stock and replaced when needed with fill-in orders. The outer shell of the fabric is Government Furnished Material (GFM). These uniforms must be made in accordance with USAFA Specifications.
