LEGAL NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TOWN OF VERNON, CT CONTRACT#2119 – 07/13/2023 - PURCHASING OF THE CAPTAIN’S VEHICLE FOR THE TOWN OF VERNON POLICE DEPARTMENT The Town of Vernon, Connecticut is seeking proposals from qualified firms for the purchase of one (1) new 2023 or 2024 full-size passenger vehicle or mid-large size sport utility style vehicle to be used as an unmarked car by our Captain of Police of the Vernon Police Department.
Date: May 18, 2018 - 5:00pmThe Urbana Police Department will be purchasing a new fleet of squad cars after July 1, 2018. We estimate the cars to arrive six to eight weeks after being ordered and graphics installation to begin late September-early October. We are seeking a qualified company to install graphics on the new fleet. The graphics will be the same as the current fleet. There will be a total of nine marked cars and three unmarked cars.
Those items along with a center console, driver’s seat partition, rifle rack, in car video system, computer system and all related wiring will need to be installed in the new fleet. There will be a total of nine marked cars and three unmarked cars. The unmarked cars will all have internal lighting to be installed. One of the unmarked cars will not have partitions to be installed.
All bids must be submitted on the attached bidding form furnished by the Township and must be placed in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside, “2 New Unmarked Admin Utility”. If mailed to the Township, the bid shall be addressed to the Purchasing Agent, Township of South Brunswick, Municipal Building, P.O. Box 190, Monmouth Junction, New Jersey 08852 and shall be plainly marked, “2 New Unmarked Admin Utility”.
