Services to facilitate the Programming and Design Services for the UNTHSC CCAP (Capital Construction Assistance Program) Projects located on the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) campus 3500 Camp Bowie Blvd. in Fort Worth, Texas.
Renovation locations include UNTHSC Mattison Parking Garage (UNTHSC Police facilities), Gibson D. Lewis Library (LIB), Center for BioHealth (CBH), Carl E. Everett Education & Administration Building (EAD), and Research & Education Building (RES). As scopes are confirmed and defined, other campus facilities may be included.
Project 1 - The LIB project will be a renovation of floors 2, 3, and 4 of the Gibson D. Lewis Library of approximately 23,000GSF (gross square feet). This is a facility that is available to students 24/7 and will remain open and occupied during construction. The facility has worn and/or dated finishes throughout (with the exception of the recently renovated 1st floor and a small portion for the 4th floor). Renovation will include new finishes, flooring, evaluation of the stairs for conformance to the International Building Code (IBC), assessment of space utilization concerns, and furnishings.
