This upgrade will enable the use of a single credential across various sites linked to the citywide Lenel Access Control System (ACS). The upgrade of the card readers is essential to improve security and streamline access control across the City Center complex. By implementing a unified credential system, the City can enhance user convenience and maintain a higher level of security.
It is not intended to be comprehensive. Each Bidder is responsible for determining all factors necessary for the submission of a comprehensive Bid. It is advised to "Save Progress" often and especially after uploading documents. NOTE: Anytime the Bidder opens their bid after the initial submission, they MUST certify and resubmit. No information will be lost from the initial submission.

This is an invitation to submit a bid to Dawson County for Construction Services - Comprehensive Security System upgrade for Dawson County. There will be a mandatory pre-proposal conference at 10:00 a.m., on August 5, 2021, at the Law Enforcement Center lobby, located at 19 Tucker Avenue, Dawsonville, GA 30534.
April 24, 2024, for all work associated with the upgrades to existing security system and installation of new comprehensive video surveillance, access control systems, throughout the School District; estimated construction cost $1,500,000.
The City is seeking a complete response from a vendor or vendors who can demonstrate that they possess the organizational, functional, and technical capabilities to upgrade the City to Cityworks 23 and to customize components and applications for individual departments within the City. The chosen vendor(s) must perform the services, furnish an appropriate solution, and meet or exceed the requirements and service level specified herein.
