Contractor must maintain access for emergency vehicles at all times. 2.13 SOIL EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL The Contractor must conduct operations in such a manner that all soil is confined within the project limits and prevented from entering storm sewers, water courses, rivers, lakes, reservoirs, or wetlands.
We recommend the pier foundations at the proposed building location be extended through the upper fill soils to bear into the lower suitable native clay soils.
Construct the upper key trench to be 11⁄2 feet deep, or three times the minimum riprap dimension, whichever is greater. Provide a setback between the top of the slope and the upper key trench at least equal to the trench depth. Backfill the upper trench with riprap material unless otherwise directed by the Engineer. Overlap geotextile seams by at least 2 feet.
The upper edge of the top reflectorized stripe on the drum shall be located a minimum of 33 inches above the surface of the roadway.
Authority granted by this permit does not waive permit requirements under the authority of Part 305, Natural Rivers, of the NREPA. A Natural Rivers Zoning Permit may be required for construction, land alteration, streambank stabilization, or vegetation removal along or near a natural river. V.
