The City of Pittsburg is seeking proposals from qualified consultants/companies for the creation of an Urban Forest Management Plan and Tree Inventory for city-wide trees in the City of Pittsburg. The Project consists of a tree inventory, tree canopy analysis, city tree ordinance review and recommendations, tree care recommendations for removal, replacement, planting and pruning as further specified in the Request for Proposal.
Added on Apr 16, 2024:We received this question: Does the City have a preferred minimum tree diameter for the inventory? Answer: Please use 6” DBH for the purposes of providing a cost proposal. The City will review this and other survey metrics with the awarded vendor in the kickoff meeting and make decisions based on that vendor’s recommendations.
