LEGAL NOTICE The Asphalt Resurfacing of Various Roads Munson Township, Geauga County, Ohio Bids will be received by the Munson Township Board of Trustees digitally via Bid Express® or in a sealed envelope at the Geauga County Engineer’s Office, 12665 Merritt Road, Chardon, Ohio 44024 by 10:00 AM local time on May 3, 2024 and read publicly at 10:05 AM local time at the above address. The bid shall be let upon a unit price basis.
LEGAL NOTICE The Asphalt Resurfacing of Various Roads Geauga County, Ohio Bids will be received by the Geauga County Board of Commissioners digitally via Bid Express® or in a sealed envelope at the Geauga County Engineer’s Office, 12665 Merritt Road, Chardon, Ohio 44024 by 10:00 AM local time on May 10, 2024 and read publicly at 10:05 AM local time at the above address. The bid shall be let upon a unit price basis.
The 2024 road resurfacing program will include road resurfacing in all City wards and painting on East West Cycling corridor streets. The Contract will be split into two contracts (West and East Brampton). The program will include fifty-three (53) street locations and fourteen (14) provisional streets. The 2024 road resurfacing program will include work in all Wards, 1 through 10 (9, and 10 no resurfacing but painting).
Resurfacing work may include any of the following: 1. Application of asphaltic concrete surface course to existing wearing course. 2. Application of asphaltic concrete leveling courses to existing wearing surfaces prior to and in preparation for item 1 above. 3. Application of asphaltic concrete to previously primed rock roads. 4. Fathering of the asphaltic concrete mat on private driveways to a point two (2) feet from the edge of the roadway.
