Funded activities include two categories:Category 1: Heat Recovery Opportunity AssessmentsCategory 1 is open-enrollment and provides funding to document current building infrastructure, quantify rejected heat from current operations, and explore potential cost-effective measures to recover and reuse heat to reduce total energy consumption.

The scope may include in-person and online community events, provided free of charge to residents.
