Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Starboard Industries for the installation, maintenance, and repair of the Jesse Brown VAMC Security System. The security system equipment is manufactured by Avigilon. Starboard Industries is an authorized vendor of Avigilon Equipment. A full description of the equipment is provided in the spreadsheet below.

Nature and/or Description of the Action Being Processed: The objective of this Justification is to procure by means Other than Full and Open Competition for the required security camera system, which shall be compatible with the existing Genetec® band server. Place of performance is the VA Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina (VAMC). A new contract, firm-fixed-priced, is planned for this one-time equipment and installation procurement.
