The targeted contract shall include all functions, tasks and responsibilities normally performed by a GSA Certified Safe and Vault Technician. Must be in accordance with (IAW) the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Provide GSA Certified Safe and Vault Technician with GSA Approved Inspector Course. Provide personnel with qualifications to service, neutralize, and repair GSA containers and vaults. The contractor shall issue a GSA Certified Safe/Vault Technician Certificate and GSA Approved Container Inspector Certificate upon successful completion of the training. No specific format is required for the certificate.2. Provide Professional Locksmith Course.
Currently, these medications are stored in the vault on open shelves and the inventory and review for upcoming expiration dates is a tedious manual task. A secure electronic storage system would eliminate the need for manually checking expiration dates and would maintain the inventory more efficiently and with a smaller footprint than current practice, freeing up the vault technicians for other duties.
