The Vertical Take Off and Landing Family of Systems (VTOL FoS) program is releasing a Request for Information (RFI), issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), for the preliminary planning for a potential acquisition. This is not a Request for Proposals (RFP). A response to this notice is not an offer, and no offer can or will be accepted by the US Government to form a binding contract.
THIS REQUIREMENT IS TO DEVELOP AGILE, SCALABLE, AND AFFORDABLE SMALL UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEM (SUAS) TRAJECTORY MODELS AND PREDICTIONS THAT ARE ABLE TO SUPPORT TRAJECTORY PATTERNS FOR DIVERSE AIRFRAME CONFIGURATIONS, INCLUDING HORIZONTAL TAKEOFF AND LANDING (HTOL), VERTICAL FLIGHT, AND HYBRID WITH COMBINED HTOL AND VERTICAL FLIGHT CHARACTERISTICS SUCH AS VERTICAL TAKEOFF AND LANDING (VTOL) AIRCRAFT.
