NOAA intends to respond to written questions and comments submitted by August 10, 2020 (end of day) prior to or as part of the the Virtual Site Visit. In addition to written questions and comments, NOAA welcomes oral questions and comments during the Q&A portions of the Virtual Site Visit.All questions and comments will receive a response in writing by September 7, 2020.
Purpose of this RFI: The NOAA is seeking to gather ideas, recommendations, and best practices from industry on how to develop, meet the goals of and support a virtual Earth Prediction Innovation Center (EPIC). EPIC seeks to create a true community earth system model that is accessible to the public and utilizes innovative strategies to host and manage the modeling system.
