Statement of Work (SOW)Vivarium Management SystemBackground: The Ralph H. Johnson Research Service Veterinary Medical Unit (VMU) requires a vivarium management system to electronically organize and manage daily operations, monthly billing, and annual reporting that will fulfill VA (local SOP 19), federal regulatory (The Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals), and animal research accreditation requirements (AAALAC International).

vivarium resource management under the Cayuse Resource Management platform:1.        

The VIP database will be checked both upon receipt of an offer and prior to award.The contractor shall provide a subscription to the vivarium management system in 15 units of 250 active animal records, for a total of 3750. Needs will be reassessed annually based on animal census in the vivarium.
