An ATI technician needs to physically visit the Giant Voice pole(designated pole 7) and determine what is causing the pole’s internal circuit to remain in astate that does not communicate with the ATI control unit. Once a cause is determined, theATI technician needs to repair the pole to a state that is mission capable.
This solicitation is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to provide ATI Emergency Mass Notification System (Giant Voice) upgrade, replacing existing REACT 4000 with REACT 5000. The upgrade will ensure compatibility with the AETC Enterprise Trunking Land Mobile Radio system and install a new Giant Voice pole near building 2320 to cover critical dead spots on base at Sheppard AFB, Texas. The work to be performed under the Proposed Contract Action shall consist of engineering, furnishing, installing, and testing (EFI&T) new single mode (SM) fiber optic cable (FOC) from multiple existing locations to End Building (EB) 4225, 4426, 4267; and the fifteen Giant Voice poles to include any necessary ducting, innerduct, Manholes, Handholes, and Pull Boxes at Keesler Air Force Base (KAFB), as specified in the Statement of Objectives (SOO).*
