Work is to include replacing missing 35 ft. poles and wall mount fixtures, upgrade all Cobra style fixtures to LED equivalent, upgrade all high mast fixtures to LED equivalent, upgrade under bridge wall pack lighting to LED equivalent, relocate south bound photo cell and contract switches away from high voltage power lines.
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, transportation, equipment, tools, and materials to purchase, deliver, and install high bay, flood, and wall pack lighting fixtures in the Aircraft Shelters for Buildings #3111 through 3114. This scope of work is intended to be a general description of the work to be accomplished within the associated area of work.
The South Carolina Air National Guard anticipates the solicitation and award of a contract to Upgrade Exterior Lighting Base Wide. The project scope includes but is not limited to the replacement and upgrade of the existing exterior wall pack lighting fixtures, street lights, high intensity discharge apron lighting and select interior lighting for the 169th Fighter Wing at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, South Carolina.
The project will consist of upgrading interior and exterior lighting systems in Building 998, Building 1805, and Building 1806 on Columbus Air Force Base with Light Emitting Diode (LED) lighting fixtures. Current lighting fixtures to be replaced are a mixture of surface mounted and recessed fluorescent troffers, recessed ceiling can lights, suspended and pendant hung fluorescent fixtures, and exterior wall pack lighting.
Current interior lighting fixtures to be replaced are a mixture of surface mounted and recessed fluorescent troffers, recessed ceiling can lights, high-bay suspended and pendant hung fluorescent fixtures, and high pressure sodium/metal halide wall pack lighting. The recommended performance period is 220 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
