The contract provides technical support services for the Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Safety Office for material release/urgent material release for aviatiion assets, missile programs, and weapon systems necessary to support the war fighter. Cancun will create distributable nodes to measure the radio high frequency (HF) environment for improved war fighter situational awareness in the critical High Frequency (HF) radio band. The low size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP-C) of these nodes will enable cost-effective wide-area deployments.
This acquisition will benefit the USAF by having available assets to fully support war fighter mission by allowing proper field level testing which requires the Agilent 85037A SNA Detector.
In addition, SRM requires SMEs to aid the DLA Program Management Division in determining how to best leverage commercial techniques, incorporate the military construction agent’s project management tools to ensure all War Fighter mission requirements are quickly identified and met.
