 High Altitude Anti-Submarine Warfare Weapon Capability (HAAWC)Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a sole source contract with The Boeing Company for Full Rate Production (FRP) of the High Altitude Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Weapon Capability (HAAWC) Air Launch Accessory (ALA) for use in launching the MK 54 Torpedo from the P-8A Poseidon aircraft from high altitude.  

The Navy desires the capability to carry and release five (5) C-HAAWC weapons from the P-8A weapons bay, commensurate with the existing capability for HAAWC.

Louis, Missouri, was awarded an $25,648,020 fixed-firm-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee and cost-only Full Rate Production (FRP) contract for the production of High-Altitude Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Weapon Capability (HAAWC) Air Launch Accessory (ALA) equipment, related engineering and hardware repair services, and other direct cost support.
