This Request for Quotations (“the RFQ”) issued by the City of Lethbridge (the “City”) is an invitation to submit non-binding offers for the provision of Wastewater Treatment Plant Lagoon Maintenance as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix C) (the “Deliverables”), for the Rates established in the pricing Schedule(s). The respondent selected pursuant to this RFQ process will be informed through electronic communication.
The City of Lethbridge Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) biosolids storage lagoons were constructed in 1970. The lagoons are 15 feet deep total with 3 feet of freeboard in the original design. The lagoons are located northwest of the WWTP and receive digested sludge for thickening, storage, and further stabilization. Biosolids from the lagoons are seasonally dredged and land applied to agricultural fields.
