Raw Water Pipeline Replacement Project Description :The project involves construction of approximately 830 meters of 700 mm water line using horizontal directional drilling and open cut methods. The work involves three tie-ins to existing steel and ductile iron pipe. The south tie-in involves construction of a temporary by-pass and paving of the tie-in area. Tree clearing and mulching will be required at selected areas for construction.

The Palmdale Water District is seeking bids from qualified contractors to construct 4,900 linear feet of 12-inch and 110 feet of 4-inch PVC recycled water pipelines along East Avenue Q from 30th Street East to 20th Street East including a new recycled bulk water station with associated site work, plumbing, and electrical work. The project will also include water improvements, sanitary sewer work, and street improvements.
