Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of a small sized, water bathed, high reliability electro discharge machining (EDM) solution from Sodick, Inc. as a sole source because of its size, reliability, and compatibility. This sole source is not only based on the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and/or services but it is also based on the ability to meet compatibility requirements of the department.
