The Deliverables include, as a component :The Water Resources group of the Regional Municipality of York (The Region) is undertaking a groundwater resource evaluation in the Community of Nobleton to assist in determining the preferred solution that will provide York Region with water supply redundancy, improved water quality (with respect to iron and manganese) and provide adequate supply capacity.

This study is partially funded by the California Department of Water Resources Local Levee Evaluation Program and will provide a comprehensive assessment of the current condition of the levee system and develop recommendations for creek and levee improvements. Services shall include land and bathymetric surveying, geotechnical engineering, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, civil design, and cost estimating.

The selected consultant will be familiar with state water resources and delivery systems and have extensive knowledge of Delta water rights, diversions and policies of state water agencies. They will have experience negotiating with state agencies regarding water rights disputes and have facilitated water rights agreements. They shall assist the City in negotiations with state agencies regarding intake permitting and permit conditions.
