2024-041 Franklin Street Water Tank Replacement The City of Salem, Virginia, is requesting sealed bids from qualified bidders for complete replacement of an existing 500,000 gallon potable water storage tank with a 256,000 gallon glass lined water storage tank, in accordance with Invitation to Bid (ITB) # 2024-041.
The Project consists of installation of a 1 MG ground water storage tank, connecting waterlines, valve vault, stormwater improvements, and all associated appurtenances. An additive alternate consists of the demolition of the existing 1.5 MG tank and miscellaneous appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.
