The Richardson Water Treatment Plant (RWTP) was built in 2008 and currently produces about 7 million gallons of drinking water per day (mgd). To meet increasing demand and continue to provide quality drinking water to approximately 30,000 people New Hanover County residents, operational improvements are needed.
