MDA seeks pulsed laser prototype weapon system concepts that are capable of Directed Energy kill.Concepts for a pulsed laser prototype weapon system are specifically desired to inform future architectures. Concepts should consider the technologies required for acquisition, tracking, and handover to the pulsed laser weapon in addition to the laser weapon beam control and propagation of the beam.

DEMSAW program will develop a credible virtual range where warfighters can experience the future scenarios using future weapon concepts against future threats.The virtual range scenarios will need to represent the full battlespace of systems of systems, utilizing Advanced Framework for Simulation Integration and Modeling (AFSIM), currently AF's primary MS&A tool for mission-level modeling.
