of self-help wellness mental health supports for staff; and Expansion of access to professional development opportunities in higher education and certification programs.

The purpose of this project is to establish a comprehensive Public Safety Wellness program within the Village of Schaumburg. The contracted Wellness Coordinator will work alongside staff and be responsible for the management, coordination and programming offered within the overall wellness program.

Responsibilities also include advertising and recruiting for vacant positions, applicant tracking, interviewing and candidate selection, coordinating all phases of the background process, conducting on-boarding and orientation, receiving and processing liability insurance claims, records management, health and wellness program coordination and serving as back-up to the Human Resources Technician, including processing payroll, FMLA, Worker’s Compensation
