Paul District is seeking interested sources capable of providing all labor, material, and equipment necessary to meet the requirements for the Drain 27 Wetland Restoration Native Plantings project. The Drain 27 Wetland Restoration Project will provide the mitigation required to offset wetland impacts associated with the federally constructed portion of the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan (FMM) Area Flood Risk Management Project.

Project Description In general, work includes the control of non-native vegetative cover in natural areas or agricultural fields to support the restoration of the sites to native wetland prairie and other habitat types. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be for one year, with option to renew for four (4) additional one-year periods.

The Port requires the expertise of a qualified consultants capable of providing expert services related to cultivation and stewardship of native wetland and transitional zone plants, tidal marsh restoration practices, and workforce development and community engagement in habitat restoration.
