The middle wall monoliths only have access provided by a 4 foot wide grated walkway spanning the top of the auxiliary chamber miter gates. So the contractor will need to develop a plan for providing and removing equipment and materials to and from the middle wall monoliths. Option 2 consists of reconstructing the access road to the project. The access road is approximately one mile long with two-lane asphalt roadway.
