The US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) - Vicksburg, MS, intends to issue a sole source award, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures as outlined in FAR Part 13, to the John Wiley and Sons, Inc. for the electronic access to the Wiley publication identified below. John Wiley and Sons is the only vendor that can provide the electronic, multisite, and IP recognition access to their virtual digital library.
Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to award a single-source fixed-price purchase order to John Wiley & Sons (Wiley) for online access to its journal services – the Wiley databases, including two types of Wiley Deposit Accounts for various types of Wiley publications.
This requirement is to provide online full-text archival access to all journals in the Wiley Online Library Database, as well as the ability to provide a streamlined, discounted, and trackable process of managing NOAA corresponding author’s gold open access publishing fees for NOAA authored articles published in Wiley Online Library journals.
