NAVSUP FLC-Norfolk intends to solicit and award a sole source contract for services related to vertical wind tunnel training to iFLY Indoor Skydiving LLC, 2412 Pacific Avenue, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23451. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
The vertical wind tunnel allows coaches to work with jumpers and fine tune their air skills and body position. This allows the jumpers to “fly” for an extended period of time. Wind tunnel training also allows ABNSOTD to prepare its MFF jumpers for MFF School.
This RFI will be utilized for market research purposes ONLY, in order to assist with the planning and potential procurement of Wind Tunnel Training.
