The new unit will consist of an interior 30 Ton Precision Cooling System CRAC Unit with a new 30 Ton DX Air-Cooled Microchannel Condensing Unit. The new units will be installed in the same locations as the old interior/exterior systems. Due to the criticality of the server farm, it is critical the demolition of the existing CRAC only occur immediately prior to the installation of the new unit.
Work includes physically removing an existing Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) unit from theComputer Room of building 120 and disposing of it. Then, transporting a new CRAC unit into the room and location where theexisting unit was. The new unit is currently in the warehouse of building 521 and will be transported from there.
