The Vermont Department of Labor is seeking to establish a contract with a vendor that can provide a medical fee schedule to establish reimbursement rates for health care providers who provide services covered by a workers’ compensation insurance policy, and to update the fee schedule annually for an additional four years.
The SWIF solution will be used for the underwriting, issuance, and maintenance of Workers’ Compensation insurance policies for employers; for payroll auditing; for claims management; and for related administrative, legal, and financial business processes. SWIF plans to use current insurance industry best practices to ensure that services are provided to Pennsylvania businesses and citizens quickly and seamlessly.
Insurance can be purchased, and certificate presented after the first payment is made. If the artist employs anyone in connection with this work, the artist must carry a worker’s compensation insurance policy and an automobile liability insurance policy if appropriate. The artist shall also be responsible for assuring subcontractors, if there are any, meet the same insurance requirements.
Workers Compensation and Employers Liability: Workers compensation limits as required by the statutes of the state of Kansas and employers liability limits of $500,000/$500,000/$500,000.
