The City’s Workers’ Compensation and Benefits Divisions oversee the day‐to‐day administration of employee leaves and benefits, which includes those employees on a protected leave. In such cases both Divisions work closely with City departments, health insurance agencies and Disability Service Providers, to ensure the needs of injured City workers (both industrial and non-industrial) are being met.
