Intensive Home Visiting is an opportunity for parents to receive home visits for up to three years. The primary goal of the HV is to support parental strengths and to assist in the formation of strong bonds between parents and the focus child in a safe and healthy home environment. Research has shown that a critical factor in achieving this goal is the development of a trusting relationship between the parent and the home visitor.
