Wound VAC service Requirement: This requirement is for annual service and preventative maintenance of 31 V.A.C Ulta Therapy Units at Edward Hines Jr. Hospital. 2. Background: Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital is the largest VA in Illinois and treats over 44,000 veterans that include 6 community-based outpatient clinics.
Under this agreement the contractor shall initially consign five (5) Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Units (Wound Vac per the Salient Characteristics above) and associated supplies/services to In-patient ward 5E at the VAPSHCS Seattle VAMC. The contractor shall provide units to maintain a rental stock on the shelf of five (5) units at all times during the period covered for this agreement. 2. Units will include (5) standard NPWT Unit V.A.C.

Contractor will be required to provide maintenance and replacement of all Wound VACS due to equipment damage, malfunctions, and/or normal wear and tear upon request from Temple VA MSD&E or nursing staff.Contractor will be required to maintain records that are available to designated MSD&E personnel and nursing staff of all Wound VAC distributed through-out the Central Texas Veterans Hospital System.
