BackgroundThe City signed a five (5) year agreement with Carnival Cruise Line which requires the City to utilize X-ray equipment to process passengers and luggage. The cruise schedule for calendar years 2025 and 2026 is attached to this solicitation as Attachment H.

The City of Norfolk (“City”) is seeking a responsible vendor to provide and install X-Ray Machines and Related Equipment for the Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center through either a five (5) year lease agreement or a direct purchase according to the terms, conditions, and specifications of this solicitation. The date of completion of the installation is December 31, 2024, in preparation for the cruise season.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the purchase of three (3) X-Ray machines.

Because of this, the CAMI Occupational health clinic is looking to acquire a new x ray processor and scanner. It will allow the clinic to decrease the exposure of patients during x-rays, decrease time taken while processing and sending to the image to outside radiology reading service.
