Information Technology (IT) Service California Multiple Award Schedule (CMAS) Financial Data Technical and Project Management Advisory Services

The Contractor shall provide Financial Data Technical and Project Management Advisory services for SCO, pursuant to DGS IT service CMAS agreement.

SCO requires a high-performing Financial Consultant (Contractor) that is a skilled financial and accounting expert, experienced in utilizing software tools to reconcile financial data. The Contractor, as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), will work directly with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and collaborate with the State Accounting and Reporting Division (SARD), Division of Audits (Audits), FI$Cal Division (FI$Cal), and the Information Services Division (ISD) to develop and implement the Financial Information System of California (Fi$Cal) accounting module and other system enhancements.

While SCO has initiated these efforts and assigned project teams, there remains a capacity issue in managing the day-to-day operations and project management. The agreement specifically seeks to address and close the gaps in transitioning from a legacy to a modern accounting system(s) by developing and implementing process improvements and workforce training for performing financial work at SCO and all other state
