Notice of Intent to Issue Sole Source Award

Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office - Atlantic, intends to issue a sole source award to Grifols USA, LLC for a Triturus EIA Analyzer Reagent Rental Program; laboratory analyzer, data management systems, all other equipment, reagents, supplies and consumables necessary to operate the contractor's equipment, training for government personnel and equipment maintenance, emergency repair and preventive service, necessary to fulfill the testing requirements for the Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH), Ft. Campbell, KY. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 325413 and the Business Size Standard is 1,250 employees.NOTE: This contract will be issued for a performance period of 1 October 2019 to 31 December 2019.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes and no solicitation will be issued. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Time, Friday, September 13, 2019. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.
