Beach Road Roundabout

This project consists of a 2-mile, 24-inch transmission force main which begins at the South Gate Master Pump Station, follows Hyde Park Street to Brookhaven Drive, onto Sea View Street crossing Beneva Road and then north to Bahia Vista Street and continuing east to the McIntosh Road and Bahia Vista Street intersection. The force main is planned to be constructed in the County’s right-of- way and under the south road lane of Bahia Vista Street. Roadway resurfacing will be integrated with the project to ensure safety to the traveling public and coordinated roadways. Project Progress/Status On August 30, 2022, Forsberg Construction was awarded the new contract for this project. The northbound lanes of Beneva Road from Sea View Street to Bahia Vista Street will continue to be shut down while Forsberg Construction makes the turn on the corner of Beneva Road and Bahia Vista Street heading east on Bahia Vista Street.
