DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION
PORTABLE OIL AND GAS OPERATION
MINOR GENERAL PERMIT 2
The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) proposes to issue an Air Quality Control Minor General Permit 2 for Portable Oil and Gas Operations under Alaska Statutes 46.14 and regulation 18 AAC 50. Location:        North Slope of Alaska – Relocatable.
Activity:         The sources covered by this permit are portable oil and gas operations on the North Slope of Alaska.Emissions:      40.1 tpy NOx, 56.1 tpy CO, 93.5 tpy VOC, 20.3 tpy PM, and 2.6 tpy SO
2. ADEC Review: ADEC drafted a preliminary permit decision for this project under AS 46.14 and 18 AAC 50.

this permit is available for review at ADEC’s Anchorage and Juneau offices during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.The draft Minor General Permit and Technical Analysis Report are also available at the Department’s website at:
http://dec.alaska.gov/Applications/Air/airtoolsweb/AirPermitsApprovalsAndPublicNotices.Opportunity for Public Participation: Any interested person may present written statements relevant to the draft documents as long as they are received within 30 days after the first publication date.  ADEC will consider all comments received and make any changes ADEC finds beneficial or necessary to assure compliance with 18 AAC 50 or State Law.  ADEC will issue a final decision to issue or deny the permit after the close of the public comment period.
