202219 April 2022 mailto:don.watts@okstate.edu The purpose of this Bid is to award one or more vendors, as-needed purchasing contracts, for the purchase of medium voltage electrical cables for the campus of Oklahoma State University, Stillwater. Oklahoma State University intends to purchase large quantities of cables each year for the next several years. The estimated cable lengths planned to be purchased through the selected as-needed vendor(s) are listed in the specifications. Bid evaluation will be based on lowest price for the estimated quantities of cables. For clarity, Oklahoma State University is not requesting bid pricing to be held for the entire contract term. Rather, bid pricing will be used for vendor selection and then subsequent orders will be purchased at a rate that is competitive with actual market conditions at the time of ordering. The contract term is date of award, through June 30, 2023 with the option to renew for three (3) additional one- year periods. Oklahoma State University, Stillwater reserves the option to rebid the contract in lieu of renewal. All cable orders will be FOB Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK 74078.
