Question 6 Posted: 4/17/2024 Question: I noticed a few marked trees which are encroaching to within 10ft of an adjacent, residential transmission line. I'm sure the City is aware that non-Line clearance certified arborists are not permitted to work in such a tree, per ANSI A300, without a temporary disconnect or proper clearance. Is this something that has been discussed/addressed? If not, is the City prepared to assist the awarded contractor in this regard, or is it going to be incumbent on the contractor to work directly with the power company? If so, who would we be contacting? Response: The City will remove these trees from the bid. Please just no bid these on your response. If you have already turned in your response that is fine. We just won't count the trees in the encroachment. Posted: 3/27/2024 Type of Addition: Clarification Overview: Item 9. Trees to be removed are marked with flagging and or painted numbers.
