All timely bids will be publicly opened and read aloud promptly at 2:00 p.m., at the above listed location. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Bids shall be submitted for furnishing, delivering and installing all materials, and services, including labor and equipment necessary to complete the Work, which generally involves the completion of the stormwater treatment and storage system known as CREST. The project will include the removal of the temporary internal berm between Phase II and Phase III along with the construction of a perimeter berm around the Phase III area and the excavation, shaping and stabilization

of the proposed storage area. The Work will include excavation of dirt / rock, building of berms, grading and shaping slopes, placing sod and restoring disturbed areas along with installing electric conduits and electrical actuators on the existing gates at the project site located at 7875 Wheeler Road, LaBelle, FL 33935, as depicted on the projects drawings. A payment in cash or check payable to AIM Engineering & Surveying, Inc. will be required for each complete set of the Documents. This payment represents reproduction costs and is non-refundable. The Owner reserves the right to waive technicalities or irregularities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid which is in the best interest of LA-MSID. In the event litigation occurs as a result of a contract between a Bidder and LA-MSID, the prevailing party shall be awarded all attorney’s fees and cost associated with said litigation. LA-MSID encourages minority owned, women owned and small businesses to participate in bidding on this project. In compliance with Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, as may be amended from time to time, LA-MSID shall not request documentation of or consider a Bidder’s social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the Bidder is a responsible Bidder, nor shall it give preference to a Bidder based on the Bidder’s social, political, or ideological interests.
