CONTINUATION PAGE Under Statutory Authority 40 U.S.C. 501 and 41 U.S.C. 251 the VA Great Lake Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to procure a Brand Name Sole Source with Stryker Instruments for Stryker Core System Surgical Power. The Core is the brains of the system and the surgical power tools attached to it. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 40 U.S.C. 501 and 41 U.S.C. 251 implemented in FAR 8.405-6, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price delivery order. The Department of Veterans Affairs has a Mandatory NAC contract on GSA / FSS: V797D-40196 / Large Business / FSC Group 65, Part II, Section A, SIN: A-8B, Page 30. Stryker Instrument is the only company that manufactures and distributes Stryker Instrument product and equipment. The NAICS Code is 339112. The Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and services to the Contract Specialist by 9:00 a.m. August 25, 2022.
