Project Description:The purpose of this Request For Proposal (RFP) Tempe Union High School District (TUHSD) is seeking comprehensive proposals to complete improvements to two (2) of our high school Stadiums and adjacent athletics venues, Marcos de Niza High School and Mountain Pointe High School. The work includes providing all labor, materials, equipment and transportation for the complete removal of the existing natural grass Stadium playing surface and the installation of a new synthetic turf along with improvements to associated infrastructure, storm water management facilities, adjustments and changes to the track and field

features, new scoreboards, relocated track field events, and synthetic track surfacing.
At a minimum this project will include: grading, drainage, paving, site concrete, electrical, irrigation, structural, synthetic turf and synthetic track surfacing. The two (2) high schools will be procured as a single project and on-site work is planned to commence in mid- May preceded by a two (2) month pre-construction and planning phase. The work is to be completed by the middle of October at both school sites, with the football playing field being completed and ready for use by early September.
