Emergency Beach and Dune Restoration & Misc Beach Services

The Work generally entails one or more of the following Bid Items: 1. provide suitable beach-compatible sand for beach and/or dune restoration, 2. transport and delivery of beach-compatible sand, 3. place and grade suitable beach-compatible sand landward of the Mean High Water Line (MHWL) and seaward of the Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL) within fill areas, 4. restoration of Construction Access Sites as used for the delivery, placement and grading of sand, 5. sand removal, screening, & placement, 6. debris removal, 7. escarpment leveling, 8. beach tilling, 9. escarpment leveling and beach tilling, and/or 10. environmental compliance/turbidity monitoring. The Work shall be as designated by the COUNTY under specific Work Orders to be issued by the COUNTY – consistent with the lump sum and unit costs cited in the Bid Form.
