REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) AIR FORCE GLOBAL ENTERPRISE TRACKING (AFGET) SERVICES ROBINS AFB, GA The Government is conducting market research and request information as detailed below. PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION Contractor to possess the capability of providing all equipment, tools, materials, transportation and services to program and project management, systems and hardware support, operations, and maintenance for all Air Force Global Enterprise Tracking (AFGET) systems, infrastructure, and customers at Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) and Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) locations of Robins AFB GA, Tinker AFB OK, Hill AFB UT, and Davis-Monthan AFB AZ. The Contractor shall integrate, provide, and sustain services, technology insertion, systems operations, systems integration, systems engineering, hardware and software installation, Verification, Validation, and Testing (VV&T), studies, analyses, technical documentation , logistics implementation, help desk, and training services for
the sustainment and expansion of AFGET coverage. The Contractor shall sustain and support the existing Government owned AFGET system. The Contractor shall provide, integrate, sustain, and advance AFGET solutions and capabilities to improve aircraft and asset visibility and accountability. The Contractor shall maintain multiple instances of real time location systems to include infrastructure, applications, sensors, and tracking tags. Maintenance includes all aspects of system maintenance such as patches and upgrades to software and hardware as well as location sensor and proximity exciter tuning and physical hardware maintenance. Contractor shall identify, evaluate, pilot, and integrate AFGET within the existing Air Force environment to enhance existing U.S. Air Force logistics management systems and implement lean logistics initiatives. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. This solicitation (request for information) is issued for the purpose of market research to solicit responses to requested attached questions. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. This RFI contains a description below of the specialized training required and Questions and PWS are attached for response and informational purposes. 2. If, after reviewing these documents, you desire to participate in the market research, you should provide documentation that supports your company’s capability in meeting these requirements. Failure to provide documentation may result in the government being unable to adequately assess your capabilities. If you lack sufficient experience in a particular area, please provide details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities in order to perform that portion of the requirement (i.e., teaming, subcontracting, etc.) a. Identify any areas of work that your organization believes should be broken out exclusively for Small Business. 3. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research. Joint ventures or teaming arrangements are encouraged. 4.
