The First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania(FCFP) invites applications for Williamsport Lycoming Competitive Grant Cycle.The program considers requests from qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving the residents of the City of Williamsport and Lycoming County, with missions relating to art and culture, education, health and human services, youth, environment, and economic development.For this grant round, FCFP is using its leadership platform to address critical issues impacting the quality of life for all members of the community it serves. FCFP’s values include visionary leadership, which is further defined by creative, resourceful thinking that leads a community through action to achieve a common goal. Programs must benefit the residents of Lycoming County. Grants of between $5,000 and $15,000 will be awarded, with a total of $228,500 to award.To be eligible, applicants must be qualified to receive tax-exempt contributions as defined by the IRS. In the vast majority of cases, applicants will be a 501(c)(3) organization or a unit of local government as described in section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code. Nonprofit organizations without 501(c)(3) status may work through another qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is willing to serve as a fiscal sponsor.
