Overseas Military Banking Program RFI

DFAS is reviewing the current DoD OMBP business model for delivery of commercial banking products and services. The current business model has existed in similar form for more than 30 years. The Government is receptive to adopting a business model that may more reflect the current climate of the U.S. banking industry. Additionally, DFAS is also gathering information from the current marketplace and seeking to learn from the financial industry what products, services, and technologies are currently available, are being built, or are being studied. Information gathered may be included in a future Request for Proposal (RFP) for banking products and services.
