The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award eight (8) sole source contracts as a stop-gap measure to allow time to award the recompeted Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract and compete each of the eight (8) task orders competitively among the IDIQ awardees. These bridges are necessary to allow time to award the new IDIQ and compete each of the task orders. The recompeted IDIQ was subject to multiple pre-award bid protests, delaying the Government’s ability to make the award and transition to competing the task orders. The current task orders end on December 31, 2022. Each of the sole source contracts will have a six-month base period.Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 5.207(a), the following information is being provided about this anticipated action.Action Code: N/ADate: December 6, 2022Year: 2022Contracting Office ZIP Code: 35898Product Service Code: R499Contracting Office Address: 4910 Fowler Road, Huntsville, AL 35898Subject: Notice of Intent to Sole Source for Subject Matter Expertise Support ServicesProposed Solicitation Number: N/AClosing Response Date: December 21, 2022Contact Point or CO: Steve McMan and Tabitha WilliamsContract Award and Solicitation Number: N/AContract Award Dollar Amount: N/ALine Item Number: N/AContract Award Date: N/AContractor: TUVA, LLCDescription: The contractor personnel shall provide consulting services in support of the Counterintelligence Division, Criminal Investigation Division, Critical Incident Response Policy and Exercise Program for the Critical Incident Response Group, HUMINT Operational Assessments Unit, Resource Planning Office, CODIS Test Engineering Support Services, and Criminal Justice Information Services / Information Technology Management Section.
